24H LE MANS 2010

In 1920, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest put in work to hold a competition which could contribute to the technical development of the automobile.

In 1922, the club announced the creation of a new type of competition in the Sarthe, a test of endurance. Today, the 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place every year in June. It is the oldest and most prestigious endurance race for sports cars and prototypes.

The circuit has a length of 13.650 meters, uses part of the Bugatti circuit and is largely composed of the national road. The most famous passages are the curves Tertre Rouge, Mulsanne, Arnage, Porsche and Maison Blanche.

In addition to the Monaco Grand Prix in F1 and Indianapolis 500, this race is part of the Triple Crown of motor racing. Unmissable.
